Frequently asked questions
Do you carry out on-site instrument calibration?▾
Yes. We perform on-site calibration for pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments. Where instruments must be removed for calibration, we can manage the logistics and provide calibration certificates. We calibrate to SANS standards and issue calibration records.
What belt weigher brands and types do you work with?▾
We work with a range of belt weigher systems including Milltronics, Siemens, Roper, and other makes. We can commission new installations, calibrate existing systems, and integrate belt weigher outputs into control and process data systems.
Can you supply replacement instruments as well as install?▾
Yes. We can supply, install, and commission instrumentation from leading manufacturers. We can also source replacement instruments where existing equipment is obsolete or discontinued.
What does an instrument loop check involve?▾
Loop checking confirms that each instrument signal is correctly wired, configured, and ranging from field to control system. We inject test signals at the field instrument and verify reading, alarm, and trip values in the PLC or DCS. Loop check records are documented as part of commissioning handover.
Do you provide calibration for scheduled maintenance shutdowns?▾
Yes. Planned calibration during shutdowns and maintenance windows is a common service. We can work to your maintenance schedule and provide calibration records for compliance and quality management purposes.
