Dusty and harsh environments
We select and specify instruments and panels rated for the environmental conditions of your specific site. IP-rated enclosures, appropriate cable glands, and robust field instrument housings are standard practice.
Remote site locations
Our team can travel to remote mine sites for installation, commissioning, and support. We plan logistics carefully and maintain clear communication about what we need from site to complete work efficiently.
Production continuity requirements
We plan work around shift schedules and production windows. Shutdown work, staged cutover, and parallel running approaches are used where live plant must remain operational.
Multi-discipline project scope
We cover mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control scope under one team. This reduces coordination risk compared to managing multiple specialist contractors on the same project.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work on underground as well as surface mining operations?▾
We work on both surface and underground mining operations. Surface work is more common in our project history, but our instrumentation and electrical capability is applicable to underground environments where certified equipment and safe working practices apply.
Can you provide belt weigher calibration at remote mine sites?▾
Yes. We can travel to remote sites to commission and calibrate belt weighers. We carry calibration equipment and issue calibration certificates as part of the service.
What PLC platforms are common in mining and can you work with them?▾
Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and Siemens are the most common platforms in South African mining. We have extensive experience with both. We also work with other platforms including Schneider Electric, Omron, and others as required.
Can you support mining operations across Africa?▾
